If you are looking for cute and functional gym clothes from a faith-based company, you’ve come to the right place!

I’m glad that athleisure has advanced to cute and functional clothing.  As someone who works from home, I live in it (even during a Zoom call where I’m in a blouse and a blazer, rest assured that I’m wearing running shorts or yoga pants on the bottom).  Since I wear it allllll the time, I prefer pieces that are cute and flattering and comfortable.

Let me start off by saying that I’m not a lululemon fan (I don’t like the colors or the fabric – scratchy! – or the fact that I cannot put them in the dryer, which defeats the easiness of gym clothes)

My requirements for gym clothes are:

  1. Flattering

  2. Affordable

  3. Comfortable

  4. Easy to Care for

  5. Durable (see #4)

Fortunately there are TONS of options beyond lulu.  (I detailed a number of my favorite pieces on Amazon that I have had for going on 10 years.)  And whether you love them or hate them, funny tanks can be a great motivator (I can’t not laugh when I wear my Feed Me Tacos and Tell Me I’m Pretty tank).

However, while I have these favorites, I have been looking more and more to find pieces from a Christian-focused line (it’s been harder than I thought it would be).

I mean, as a Christian, there are LOTS of motivations built into the faith that help keep me going in a workout.  Like that I’m grateful my legs are capable of making it through this barre class!  But it’s surprisingly hard to find a company that makes faith-based gym clothes.

Faith Over Fear

Then I found Active Faith Sports, an active apparel company with options for women, men, and children that allow people to be active in the gym and in their faith (okay I stole that line from their website, because I love it).

This Christian-focused line of cute workout clothes meets all five of my must-haves – they are flattering, affordable, comfortable, durable, and you can put them in the dryer!

One of the concerns I had was that everything would be big and baggy and something that looked like an ex-boyfriend’s sweatshirt.  I was SO HAPPY about the cute cuts and fit of the women’s clothing!  Tanks (RACERBACKS, SO FLATTERING BUT HARDER TO FIND THAN THEY SHOULD BE), yoga pants, and running shorts, all affordably priced!!

Here are my favorites:

If you don’t like what you get or it doesn’t fit, you can return it within 30 days too, so no need to make a commitment.

There’s an added bonus to wearing these types of things.  I’m sure you’ve had similar experiences, but I’ve talked to people after a class because I liked her pants or she wanted to know where I got my shirt (I ended up becoming friends with a woman who used to go to the barre studio that was advertised on my socks!).

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

How great would it be to see someone else in the gym wearing something that denoted their faith?  It’s hard to find options though, so I’m hoping you guys check out Active Faith Sports!  Who knows, you might even make a new gym friend or unknowingly give someone some encouragement!

As functional as these are in the gym, they look equally cute walking through the aisles at Target!

They offer discounts for students, military, first responders, and medical workers!
